Pricing and availability for delivery service is based on zip code, price type, and purchase amount.

In-Box Doorstep Delivery is available on all zip codes in our local area. For purchases under $999, the charge is $79. For purchases $999 and over, it is FREE* (*with the exception of Clearance items, which is still $79).
Premium In-Home Delivery is available on all zip codes in our local area for $99. It is also available in many zip codes in Lower Michigan that are not in our local area (with a minimum purchase amount) starting at $149. How Do I Prepare For My Delivery

Preparing for your delivery:

Have an adult 18 years of age or older present to accept any delivery.
Re-measure to make sure your new furniture will fit in your home.
Clear the room and decide where your new furniture will be placed.
Clear the pathway to the room and remove any obstacles

During your delivery: Please inspect your new furniture after its installation, and point out any issues to the delivery team prior to them leaving your home.

How Do I Pick Up My Furniture Purchase

Preparing for pickup:

Call the store of purchase to confirm that your furniture is ready for pick up from the location arranged.
Re-measure to make sure your new furniture will fit in your home.
Make sure your vehicle is large enough to safely transport your new furniture.
Pack rope and blankets to properly secure your new furniture and ensure its safe ride home. Keep in mind that we cannot assist in the securing of your product and do not provide rope, plastic or other protection.
Any person picking up a purchase must present a copy of their invoice / sales order and a valid photo ID that matches the paperwork. Any exception must be noted by the store in writing prior to pickup.

While you’re picking up: Please inspect all of your new furniture at the time of pick-up. If items are in boxes or packaging from the manufacturer, Inspect the packages for signs of damage. Please notify a member of our team before you leave if you see any issues or signs of damage.

Orders place online will have any applicable delivery charges listed at checkout if the option for Delivery is chosen.

Some delivery options available in store are not available for online orders.

Assuming you have a vehicle large enough to accommodate your purchase and the muscle power to get it from your truck into your home; most furniture will require some kind of assembly. Depending on the item, it could take you anywhere from 10 minutes to an hour (or longer) to get the furniture ready for home use. If you factor in assembly, heavy lifting, mileage, and gas you will probably come to the realization that having your furniture delivered is a smart choice.

Talsma Furniture offers home deliveries Monday through Saturday with a reliable window of time when you can expect us to arrive. We also give our customers a 30 minute call ahead to let you know when we are on our way to your home. If you purchase an in stock item, we can have that delivered to you within a few days of your purchase depending on your zip code.

Talsma Furniture’s delivery service for our local area, which includes many zip codes in West Michigan, has 2 options to chose from: In-Box Doorstep, or Premium In-Home. Extended area deliveries are also available and rates fluctuate depending on zip code and start at $149 for Premium In-Home. With Premium In-Home delivery our professional delivery team arrive with your furniture assembled and ready for use, and will place it in the location or room of your choice.

For liability reasons, our delivery teams are not permitted to move or remove your existing furniture, mattress, electronics, or other household belongings and cannot set up lamps, hang pictures or mirrors on walls, or make electrical connections for entertainment units. With a mattress purchase, our delivery team can move the old mattress to another room or out of the home upon prior request- as long as it is safe and sanitary to do so (Premium In-Home Delivery only).
